I like Chicharito, he’s such lovable player. But I don’t think he has a future at the club with players like Rooney, RvP and Welbeck being here. The manager will always pick Rooney or RvP ahead of him, sadly Chicha will always be a second choice. To continue with his career I think he should leave for a club where he would be their first choice striker. He’s too talented to stay on the bench.
Don’t let the media hide the fact that this was direct action by the dispossessed (in this case working class Black and Asian, mainly immigrants, people in England) fighting for other dispossessed people.
After three weeks of violence between Israel and Gaza, more than 1,100 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli air and ground strikes. About 75 percent of Palestinian deaths have been civilians. Several thousand have been wounded and more than 100,000 displaced. Fifty-three Israeli soldiers have died, as well as three civilians.
Just look at the casualties. This is not a war, it is genocide.
I’m supposed to be moving into my new apartment on September 1st, and I’m really excited. But I just got an email from my future landlord and one of the current tenants saying that I’m responsible for half of the August rent, which I wasn’t at all supposed to have to pay. If I don’t pay it, my application to live there will be denied, and I’ll be screwed out of a place to live when I go back to school (which is a thousand miles away from home).
In order to cover that half of August’s rent, as well as the security deposit that I now have to pay a month before I’d have to pay it, I need to come up with $500 that I legitimately do not have rightnow. I feel so so bad for asking, but I’m pretty desperate and don’t know what else to do (because at some point I’ll also need to be buying $400 worth of textbooks for fall quarter).
If you have five dollars that you can spare, I’d really really appreciate it. If you don’t, I totally understand, and I would just appreciate a reblog.
this isn’t shade to anyone, but yall need to stop acting surprised when your fave celebs fuck up. they’re part of a ruling class who are thoroughly isolated from concrete global issues and catastrophes and actually rely on the disenfranchisement of others to sustain their status. their entire persona is inherently problematic as ultimate beneficiaries of capitalism. what ethics do you expect, idgi
